No, KURIO is not a social networking site. KURIO is designed to be a communications tool that helps you crowd source information beginning with your already-established network of trusted friends. To further streamline that process, you can connect with friends and new contacts on the KURIO platform by sending a Connection Request. A benefit of making KURIO Connections is that your KURIO contacts will be alerted each time you post a Public KURIO (even if you’ve forgotten to send them an SMS or link to the thread) so they can quickly tap into your KURIO thread to help you out with information or a much-needed introduction!
We love KURIO for many reasons but the main ones include: Streamlined communications – No more hunting through various emails, text messages, DMs or chat groups for the recommendations or advice of your friends and friends-of-friends. All related communications are centralized in one place on your KURIO thread. Reach a wider audience – Reach a wider audience when your friends share your KURIO with their networks. You’ll be able to seamlessly tap into a larger more diverse pool of phenomenal women. You can also drop a KURIO link on your social media posts, or in your WhatsApp or slack groups to crowd-source information. Keep contact information confidential – With KURIO you can share advice with and make preliminary introductions for members of your extended network without having to share yours or anyone else’s personal contact details. We believe this encourages the free sharing of information among people who are not otherwise connected. Yes, to share a KURIO with more members of your network after it has been published, tap on the red timer, a drop-down menu will appear and then tap on Share KURIO. You can then share your KURIO via email, SMS or copy the KURIO link to drop it into a group chat or social media post.

Yes, you can share your KURIOs via email, SMS and link with anyone, including people who do not have a KURIO account. Recipients who do not have KURIO accounts will be able to respond on KURIO threads but will not see your profile details.

Yes, you can save your KURIO threads by archiving your KURIO within 12 hours of the KURIO’s expiration. To Archive your KURIO, tap on the red timer and tap on Archive KURIO from the drop-down menu. Archived KURIOs can be retrieved by tapping on your profile thumbnail and selecting the Archived KURIOs Tab. If you think a KURIO you archived would be helpful to a friend, you can share the Archived KURIO by going to your Archived KURIOs tab, tapping on “Expired” and selecting “Share KURIO”. You can then choose to share the KURIO with specific Connections on the KURIO platform or by emailing it to friends.

First head over to My Account to enter your phone number so we know where to send your alerts. Next, turn on the Receive SMS notifications option on the KURIO creation screen. If you want to turn on this feature after you have already posted your KURIO, you can turn it on by tapping the red timer and opening the Edit tab from the drop-down menu and then turn on Receive SMS notifications.
Turn on the Receive Daily Digest email option in the My Account. Once this feature is activated, you’ll receive an email alerting you to pending notifications of the day’s activity in your KURIO Crowd. This includes new Connection Requests, Public KURIOs that have been posted to your Connections’ profiles and responses to your own KURIOs. We promise not to spam you! You’ll only receive the digest email if you actually have pending notifications.

Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
Navigate to the KURIO website.
Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the
screen.
Scroll down to the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. If you don’t see the
action, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home
Screen After that, you’ll be able to select it from the Share Sheet.
Type a name for your site link. This will be the title that appears beneath its icon on
your Home Screen.
Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.
Your new “web app” will appear in the next available space on your device’s Home
Screen.
Android
Launch Chrome on your Android device.
Navigate to the KURIO website.
Tap the Menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to Home Screen.
